How NOT to win me over with web advertising. ESPN force-fed me this ad from GMC before letting me see my Fantasy Football roster. Bad idea. If you look carefully, there’s no way to simply close the box and proceed forward. You must make a selection and actually click on the submit button. This, obviously is a horrible user experience.
By simply allowing me to close the ad and move forward, I would have been fine with the situation. However, I am very annoyed that I actually had to ‘Submit’ something that I had no intention of interacting with in the first place. Thumbs down to both ESPN and GMC for greenlighting this ad.
